Young woman brutally murdered alongside Chop Boii in Abuja identified as UNICROSS student Blessing Udie
One of four people brutally murdered in Abuja has been identified as Blessing Kona Udie, a 400 level microbiology student from Cross River State University, UNICROSS.
The undergraduate and three others, including a musician Chop Boii, were hacked to death by unknown assailants at a residence in the Gwarimpa neighborhood of Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
Blessing was said to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time when she accompanied her friends to an apartment that housed a mini music studio for the production.
The deceased would be the girlfriend of the producer of Chop Boii.
Confirming the incident, FCT Police Command spokeswoman DSP Josephine Adeh said police have since opened an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, friends, classmates and family members took to Facebook to mourn the young woman.
