Apostle Johnson Suleman said that the two elections recently held in Nigeria proved that the permanent voter card used to vote in elections is useless. The cleric said this while preaching in his church today March 19. He mentioned that Nigeria does not practice democracy in any way, but rather “agberocracy”, which in his words means “rule of agency by aggero for aggero”.
He chastised politicians for using thugs to steal ballot boxes during elections. He also opposed the tribal sentiments expressed in elections, saying that no one pays taxes based on their ethnicity and therefore the question of ethnicity in elections should never arise.
He called on young Nigerians not to be discouraged by the outcome of the elections. He added that what he knows for a fact is that what is built on a false foundation can never stand.
