Travelers kidnapped in Cross Rivers state regain their freedom
The Cross River State Police Command said eight of the nine passengers abducted by gunmen along the Calabar-Ikom highway on Tuesday November 15 have been rescued.
The spokesperson dismissed claims that the abduction was carried out by shepherds. She added that the incident was purely a case of armed robbery.
