Tinubu and Shettima present their return certificates to President Buhari (photos)

President Buhari received President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice-President-elect Kashim Shettima on Wednesday evening March 1 at his country house in Daura, Katsina State.

The duo were in Daura to present their return certificates to President Buhari.

They were accompanied by members of the Progressive Governors Forum (NGF) and the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.

According to a statement released by Mallam Garba Shehu, the president’s senior special assistant for media and publicity, Buhari’s guests were on a “thank you visit” to the president following the party’s victory in last Saturday’s presidential election.

The certificates were presented to them by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu at the International Conference Center (ICC) in Abuja.
