Three siblings have been burned to dying in a fireplace in Kabuga Yan Azara, Gwale Native Authorities Space, Kano State.
The victims have been recognized as Saddiqa Salisu, 6, Abdulsamad, 15, and Fatima Isiyaku.
Kano State Fireplace Division spokesman Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident in an announcement on Tuesday, November 22, mentioned the fireplace involving a multi-storey constructing occurred within the evening of Monday, November 21, 2022.
“We obtained an emergency name from Marwa Umar at round 10:40 p.m. that there was a fireplace in Kabuga and instantly despatched a rescue crew to the scene at round 10:50 p.m. to forestall the fireplace from spreading to different homes. Our males evacuated three unconscious our bodies who have been later confirmed useless,”
Abdullahi added that the division had already opened an investigation into the reason for the fireplace.
He instructed the general public to make use of fireplace and electrical home equipment with warning and to report any instances of drowning, fireplace, site visitors accident, amongst others, to the closest fireplace division.
