There is no doubt that the Obidient movement helped me win
Ireti Kinigbe, the elected senator from the Federal Capital Territory, said the Obidient movement contributed to her victory.
Cry, a A Nigerian civil engineer and politician, was elected as a member of the Senate representing the FCT in the 2023 Nigerian elections under the Labor Party.
Speaking on Arise TV, Kinigbe said the Obidient movement as well as the political awareness of women to elect a female representative all contributed to her victory.
She says: “Without a doubt, the Obidient movement helped me win. All of this helped me win.
She added that her victory “is a combination of many factors”.
“Abuja was completely Obidient from the start. And I have to say that the Obidient movement also came looking for me to be their senatorial candidate. So, I had to reflect some of their ideals or they won’t have.
“Oh, I believe in the movement and I think Nigeria needs it.
“Now if we can achieve anything in 2023 it has to be seen but it is a movement and one that will continue and one that I intend to build and continue to build in the FCT it does not no doubt,” she added. .
