The things that I did not succeed as governor, God gave Professor Charles Soludo the opportunity to succeed

Labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi reacted to criticism from Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State.

Speaking at an event hosted by Lagos Business School on Tuesday, November 15, Peter Obi said people should know that the investment he made on behalf of Anambra State, which according to Governor Soludo, is now worthless, is part of a global chain and the company he was invested in is still running. He also noted that the value of investments is rarely stable.

He added that God gave Soludo the opportunity to succeed in things that he (Obi) did not succeed as Governor of Anambra State.

Obi also said that he has done his bit as a trader and the professor who now governs Anambra State can improve that and improve the lives of the residents of the state.
