The bride and groom lift weights at their wedding reception (video)
A bride and groom chose to lift weights at their wedding reception, rather than throw a conventional party.
The couple’s video was shared on Twitter with the caption, “When you two meet at the gym.”
In the viral video, the newlyweds named Luis and Angie were still dressed in their wedding regalia as they hoisted dumbbells up and down during their wedding party.
Wedding guests greeted them enthusiastically and waved napkins in the air as the couple did face-to-face deadlifts and squats.
While some social media users found the video cute, others were unimpressed and said a wedding party was not the place to powerlift.
