American singer Tamar Braxton is officially off the market.
The “All the Way Home” singer, 45, is now engaged to Jeremy “JR” Robinson, who was a finalist on Braxton’s new reality dating series, “Queens Court.”
On the latest episode of Peacock, Robinson popped the question to Braxton.
“I don’t want to be your friend. I want to be your husband,” the attorney told the Grammy nominee, per ET. “I’m here forever because I can’t see my life without you. And I love you.
“Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?
Braxton accepted her proposal, confessing that she is “crazy” about Robinson.
“I can’t believe I found what I was looking for,” she added.
Although filming wrapped six months ago, the show said Robinson and Braxton are still together and are “busy planning their wedding!”
The show featured Braxton, Evelyn Lozada and Nivea as they dated a group of 21 men who fought to become their potential “kings”.
Braxton walked into Queen’s Court hoping to find love – but learned that she actually needed something else.
“I thought I just needed love. I didn’t,” said the celebrity big brother The winner of season 2 explained. “I needed a friend. And you were that for me.”
Robinson wanted to continue to be there for Braxton.
Robinson, who has five children with four different wives, entered Queen’s Court in the first episode and he and Braxton bonded after losing loved ones. Braxton’s older sister Traci died in 2022 after battling cancer, and Robinson’s mother died of cancer. Robinson said he saw a hummingbird at his mother’s funeral and, according to Braxton, his sister said she would become a hummingbird when she died.
Prior to her engagement to Robinson, Braxton dated David Adefeso, but the couple had a tumultuous split in 2020 after just two years together.
The “Love and War” singer also shares son Logan, 9, with ex-husband Vincent Herbert. Braxton and the record producer, 50, called it quits in 2017 after nine years of marriage.
