Seyi Makinde was re-elected Governor of Oyo State
Governor Seyi Makinde of the PDP has been declared the winner of the election for Governor of Oyo State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC declared him the winner this afternoon, March 19.
According to the published results, Makinde garnered a total of 563,756 votes to beat his nearest rival, Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who garnered 256,685 votes, while Adebayo Adelabu of the Accord Party won. received 38,357 votes.
