Sex worker and client die as building collapses on top of them while having sex in Lagos

Some emergency officials have shared more information about some of the victims of the building that collapsed in Lagos on Friday, September 23.

It was earlier reported that the house at 2/4 Oye Sonuga Street, Palm Avenue, Mushin collapsed on Friday killing four people.

Speaking to Daily Trust, some emergency officials revealed that two of the victims, a male and a female, were having sex when the incident happened.

An official said;

“In fact, they were naked when their bodies were found.”

Another official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press said;

“We were shocked by what we saw at the scene. The last two victims whose bodies were found were actually having sex. The man was on top of the prostitute when the building collapsed. They are both dead.

Another official revealed that the building that collapsed is a motel and that the female victims were in fact prostitutes. He said;

“The place was used as a Clubhouse/Motel and the female victims were actually prostitutes; the last female we picked up was with a male. They were having a great time when we picked them up.

A source added;

“We need to reach out to their colleagues there who are all prostitutes for information on the families of the victims.”
