American rapper 50 Cent has filed a lawsuit against a plastic surgeon based in South Florida who used a photo they took together to falsely portray that he had undergone surgery on his penis in his clinical.
The 47-year-old rapper, in court documents reviewed by TMZ, named plastic surgeon Angela Kogan and her companies, Perfection Plastic Surgery and MedSpa, in a legal filing, claiming she continued to circulate the photo they had taken to make it appear. he had undergone surgery on his genitals.
The controversial rapper said he originally took the photo in February 2020 thinking Kogan was a fan of his, but she has continued to use it on social media ever since.
50 Cent said in legal papers that the myth was perpetuated to a new extent when The Shade Room published an article last month about men undergoing sexual enhancement procedures, using the image of the rapper and the plastic surgeon as part of the story.
50 Cent said Kogan and his associates knew he had no type of surgery at the clinic and wanted them to stop using the photo under any circumstances.
He said the notion suggested by the image hurts him professionally and personally and abuses his name and image.
Additionally, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, is also seeking financial compensation from Kogan for posting the image.
Kogan’s attorney, Darren Heitner, told TMZ the rapper secured the services of Perfection Plastic Surgery and posed for the photo with Kogan in payment for the work done, on the understanding that she would use it to do advertising for his business.
50 Cent had no penis enhancement procedures, Heitner said, and knew Kogan posted the image online, but didn’t object until years later.
“Our clients have taken no action to cause damage to Mr. Jackson’s professional or personal reputation and will vigorously defend themselves against the frivolous claims that have been publicly filed against them and their burgeoning business,” he said. at the point of sale.
