The Ekiti State House of Assembly complex was shut down by police just 24 hours after a new president was elected.

Speaking to Channels Television, state police public relations officer Sunday Abutu said the decision was made after receiving a report from intelligence services of a possible attack on the holy chamber by criminal elements.
