Police arrest 53-year-old woman with laminated INEC documents
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 53-year-old woman, who was allegedly found with laminated election materials.
Command Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed this to News Agency of Nigeria on Friday, March 17, 2023.
The PPRO said the suspect was arrested around 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Candos Road, Baruwa in the Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos.
According to him, the suspect was arrested inside a business center where she made photocopies.
“She was arrested with 550 different INEC documents. The laptop she used to print the documents was recovered and she could not give a good account of how she came into possession of the documents. The case has been transferred to CID Yaba State for further investigation.” he said.
