PDP’s Fubara declared winner of Rivers gubernatorial election
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate Similanayi Fubara has been declared the winner of the gubernatorial elections in Rivers State.
THE The returning officer who announced the election results Monday night said Fubara got 302,614 votes while All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate Pastor Tonye Cole came in second with a number total of 95,274 votes.
SThe DP’s gubernatorial candidate, Senator Magnus Abe, came third with a total of 46,981 votes. The PDP gubernatorial candidate won in all 23 local government areas in the state.
