PDP wins majority seats in Plateau Assembly
The People’s Democratic Party won 16 seats in the Plateau State Assembly, which has 24 members.
The ruling APC won seven constituency seats, while the Young Progressive Party (YPP) won one.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that the PDP won the elections of Pengana, Riyom, Jos South, Mangu South, Barkin Ladi, Qua’an-Pan North, Pankshin South, Langtang North, Langtang South, Langtang North Central , Rukuba/Irigwe, North West Jos, Bokkos and North Mangu.
APC won in Dengi, Kantana, Kanke, Shendam, Wase, Jos North-North and Jos East, while YPP won in Pankshin North State constituency.
