PDP defeats APC in Kaduna State seat of government
The PDP defeated the ruling APC in the gubernatorial and state assembly elections held at two polling stations at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim government headquarters in Kaduna, State of Kaduna. Polling stations 013 and 014 are all within the premises of Government House.
DPP gubernatorial candidate Hon. Isa Ashiru Kudan, garnered a total of 77 votes in voting unit 014 to beat APC gubernatorial candidate, Senator Uba Sani, who received 40 votes. The Labor Party got 0 votes while the PRP got one vote, the NNPP got one vote and seven votes were invalid.
In polling unit 013, the PDP received 69 votes against the APC which obtained 64 votes. The President, Kalu Kelechi Micheal, while announcing the results, said that the LP got eight votes, PRP – 01 and NNPP – 01 votes.
