Reacting to the Court of Appeal’s ruling that overturned the Tribunal’s decision that initially fired Governor Ademola Adeleke, Oyetola noted that his faith in the judiciary also remains unwavering and that, according to the excerpt available in the judgment, there is strong grounds for him to seek further redress from the Apex Court.
A statement from his media assistant, Israel Omipidan, says
“We have heard the judgment of the Court of Appeal, but we have not yet received a copy of the judgment. However, from the excerpts we’re getting, we believe we have potential grounds to approach the Supreme Court. Our faith in the judiciary remains unshakable, just as my unshakable faith in God’s promise regarding the resumption of my mandate remains unquestionable. I therefore call on our supporters and party members to remain calm as we take the next step.
