Nigerians dodged a bullet on February 25
Minister of State for Labor and Employment Festus Keyamo has reacted to reports of the Labor Party form of government for the Imo State Governor election set at N25million.
Reacting to the news via his Twitter account, Keyamo said Nigeria dodged a bullet on February 25. He wrote ;
”I understand that the Labor Party governorship forms for IMO state cost 25 million naira, the same as the PDP in the last election. It didn’t even take long before the claims of the so-called “new races” began to unravel. Nigerians dodged a bullet on February 25”
Three states Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa will have their gubernatorial elections on November 11, 2023. The term of the incumbent governor of Imo state ends on January 14, 2024 while those of Kogi and Bayelsa states respectively end on January 26, 2024 and February 13, 2024.
