Nigerian Doctor Calls Fertility Centers Nationwide Pumping Patients With Hormone Drugs
One day we will talk about these so-called “fertility centers” that inject patients with hormonal drugs that make them bloat, stop their periods and simulate the symptoms of pregnancy. I have always known them to exist remotely until now.
A woman came to the antenatal clinic to register and said she was 5 months pregnant. And even gave the date of her last period. Also added that she did a blood test which confirmed it. Belly full but unable to palpate uterus let alone pick out fetal heart.
I suggested she get a scan (maybe my palpitation abilities and ear are not working well) Came back a week later only to show the scan (empty uterus) no signs of cyesis. Not even an ectopic or molar pregnancy This time I took a Negative blood test again.. ah! She almost lost him!
Apparently she went to this “fertility center” where they gave her a bunch of medicine to take for a few months… long story short, these outlets are just scams. The people there aren’t even doctors. Either way, I already know what’s at stake
But I encouraged her to stay calm, to redo the tests in different labs (but deep down I already know what’s going on. But I just tried not to dampen her mind any further)
Let me tell you how some of these “fertility centers” work. They pump women with hormonal drugs, including hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which is the hormone that appears when a woman is pregnant. If this hormone is high enough, “pregnancy symptoms” follow
And of course hormonal drugs that stop her period. So you have; No period Pregnancy symptoms. What easy conclusion will a woman trying to conceive come to? I’m pregnant, they are visibly delighted
Because of the high level of hCG in their blood, if they took a pregnancy test, what would the result be? You guessed right! Now you don’t have a period Pregnancy Symptoms Positive Pregnancy Test Who can doubt all these obvious signs, right? But there’s a twist to their elaborate scam
They tell these women never to go to a hospital or get a CT scan! That the baby is hiding and no one will see it but it’s there… I know, don’t I?
Remember these women get bloated and add belly fat (mostly side effects of hormonal drugs)
They mostly tell them to keep it a secret from friends and family and not to see any doctor. During their 6-7 months of charade, they will admit them to the “hospital” for a while and then come up with a reason why they should have a caesarean.
I don’t need to tell you how much these women pay for these VIP services. On D-day, they will put the woman under general anesthesia, open it (classic SC type incision on the abdomen) and close it. the moment she wakes up, there is a baby waiting for her. Shocking, isn’t it?
Now here is a woman who has had all the symptoms of pregnancy, has gone into “surgery” and wakes up next to a newborn… What is the logical conclusion? You guessed again. I’m sure you’ve heard the word “baby mill)… well, that’s how baby mills work
Where do these babies come from? Especially surrogate mothers who are paid for their babies. Let’s not even open the Pandora’s box surrounding the buying and selling on the black market of newborn babies of poor girls in the villages. Shocking, right?
Sometimes some of these women fall victim to deception, other times the women are well into the plan perhaps to deceive their husbands or family members.
Side note: With the increase in paternity fraud and the like, it is important that the DNA test be done to also check if the mother is also related to the child. Sometimes you will be shocked that neither the father nor the mother are the biological parents of the children *I’m just saying
