Necrophiliac murderer David Fuller, who is serving his life for killing two women and sexually abusing 102 female corpses, has appeared in court to face 16 new sex charges.
The 68-year-old beat and strangled Wendy Knell, 25, and Caroline Pierce, 20, to death before sexually assaulting them in two separate attacks in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in 1987. He got also filmed abusing corpses, including a nine-year-old. old girl, two 16-year-olds and a 100-year-old woman, more than 12 years before his arrest in December 2020.
Fuller was charged with 12 more counts of sexual penetration of a corpse and four counts of possession of extreme pornography on Tuesday, October 4.
Fuller appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning, October 6, via video link from HMP Frankland.
He spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth, current residence and not to plead against the 16 counts.
They include sexual penetration of a corpse, possession of an extreme pornographic image involving sexual contact with a corpse, and taking indecent images of children.
Fuller will be remanded to HMP Frankland and is due to appear again at Maidstone Crown Court on November 3.
Fuller was sentenced to two life terms in December 2021 after he admitted sexually assaulting at least 102 dead women while working as an electrician at a hospital morgue.
The pensioner pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court to their murders, along with 51 other offences, including 44 counts involving 78 victims in morgues between 2008 and November 2020.
His crimes first came to light after he was linked to one of Britain’s longest unsolved double murders more than 30 years ago.
During the investigation, Fuller was linked to the 30-year-old cold cases through a DNA breakthrough which then led police to their hoard of sickening recordings of himself abusing corpses.
On Tuesday, police brought 16 other charges against him in connection with sex offenses committed at a morgue.
Kent Police said: ‘An investigation by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Branch has led to evidence relating to a total of 101 victims at these burial grounds.
“The latest charges relate to the remaining 23 victims, all of whom were deceased adult women. They cover a period between 2007 and 2020.’
Fuller, from Heathfield, East Sussex, who is being held at Frankland Prison in Durham, has been charged with 10 offenses under section 70 of the Sexual Offenses Act 2003, which relates to offenses involving 10 identified victims .
He was also charged with two other offenses under section 70 of the Sexual Offenses Act 2003, relating to offenses involving three unidentified victims.
Police also brought two charges against him under Section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008. These relate to the possession of extreme pornography in connection with 13 identified victims.
And two other charges under Section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 which relate to possession of extreme pornography in relation to 10 unidentified victims.
In December 2021, Fuller was also sentenced to concurrent sentences totaling 12 years, for other unrelated charges to which he pleaded guilty.
These included sex offenses against 78 women who died in morgues at Tunbridge Wells Hospital and the former Kent and Sussex Hospital, between 2008 and 2020.
He had worked there as an electrician since 1989.
