Maroon 5’s Adam Levine has denied having an affair with model Sumner Stroh.
Recall that Stroh, 23, went viral on TikTok on Monday, September 19, after claiming to have been “manipulated” by a married man. She then posted direct messages Levine allegedly sent her on Instagram.
She also exclusively told Page Six that the alleged affair took place “last year” when she “graduated college in 2021.”
When asked if the alleged affair was sexual or just emotional deception, the model claimed that she and Levine had a “physical” relationship.
The Maroon 5 frontman, in a statement posted via his Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 20, admitted to crossing the line.
“I have shown poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife about ANY kind of flirtation.
“I didn’t have an affair, yet I crossed the line during a regrettable time in my life.”
Levine, 43, said his interactions “in some cases” became “inappropriate”. He added: “I have resolved this issue and taken proactive steps to address it with my family.”
“My wife and family are all I care about in this world.
“Being naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that really matters to me was the biggest mistake I could make. I will never do it again. I take full responsibility. will come out of this together.”
Sumner Stroh, who reacted to Levine’s post, had a sleazy response for denying their alleged affair.
“Someone give this man a dictionary,” the Instagram model, 23, posted cryptically to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, just hours after the Maroon 5 frontman, 43, claimed he ” hadn’t had an affair” but rather “crossed the line.”
