A Nigerian woman is of the opinion that allowing teenage girls to wear corsets, make-up and heels at weddings where there are men, especially Abuja men, is bad parenting.
In a message shared on her Twitter account, the lady @Salmata_IB, said that teenage girls are supposed to be in bed or studying and not attend weddings.

“Maybe I’m judging, but letting your teenage daughters wear corsets, make-up and heels to wedding events with all those predatory men in Abuja is bad Muslim parenting. The corset sits only on bones and air. She’s 19… Someone who should be in bed or studying by then.
The world is hard enough for women, protect your daughter’s childhood for as long as you can. There is a time for everything. Letting her be an easy target or prey parading half-naked at 10 p.m. won’t make her marry sooner or accomplish faster. Stop rushing girls!
