Kidnappers release Osun farmers and one other, two ransom bearers still in captivity

The abductors freed two farmers from Osun, Samuel Oyedotun and Tobiloba Fashola after paying a ransom of 6 million naira.

The 2 victims have been kidnapped as they returned from their farm alongside Ede/Ileogbo street in Ayedire Native Authorities Space in Osun State on Wednesday, January 11.

The abductors first demanded a ransom of 10 million naira after which agreed to gather 6 million naira, which was delivered to them within the border neighborhood between Kogi and Kwara State.

Abductors held captive three family, together with Samuel’s older brother, after handing over the ransom, demanding a further 24 million naira.

A household supply, who confirmed the event on Wednesday morning, mentioned Samuel and Tobiloba together with one other relative who went to ship a ransom, have been launched in a bush someplace in Kogi state.

Osun State Police Command spokesman Yemisi Opalola confirmed their launch.
