Kanye West has announced his intention to run for president in 2024.
In a video posted to Twitter on Sunday, November 20, Kanye said far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos was working on his campaign.
“It’s Milo here, working on the campaign,” West, 45, said in the video posted by the PatriotTakes Twitter account.
“Is this an announcement?” one of the men asks as they both laugh.
“I guess so,” Yiannopoulos replied with a laugh. “Thank you, I accept.”
The cameraman then asked West, “So you running?”
“Yeah,” Kanye replied with a laugh. “It’s simple because nobody can tell me, you know, ‘you should say this, you shouldn’t say that’, you know? It’s just that we’re moving forward.”
It comes as Kanye’s Twitter account has been restored after he was banned from the app following vile and anti-Semitic remarks he made last month.

You work. He says he’s racing in 2024, showing off merchandise and new clothes! Reiterates that he is working to get everything to $20. It’s something cool behind the scenes!
He even gives the cameraman a jacket. A legend ? pic.twitter.com/8pfHoJrBGl
