Kano State Government Declares Dawn To Dusk Curfew As Residents Await Election Results
The Kano state government has imposed a dawn to dusk curfew as residents of the state await the results of the state gubernatorial elections for the state.
In a statement released by State Information and Home Affairs Commissioner Malam Muhammad Garba, the state government said the decision was to prevent thugs from wreaking havoc on an already tense situation.
The commissioner called on residents of the state to stay indoors as security guards would spare no one or group determined to cause trouble.
