INEC says election of Kebbi governor inconclusive
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC said the gubernatorial election in Kebbi State was inconclusive.
The resident INEC Election Commissioner for the state, Prof. Yusuf Saidu, who revealed it, said the election was marred by irregularities in 18 local government areas in the state. The returning officer cited certain sections of the election law that gave him the power to declare the results inconclusive.
