“I don’t know what I did to deserve this. It’s very painful”
A heartbroken Kenyan man named Rajab Abdul has told how his wife left him with nothing after their business failed.
The father-of-two claimed he once caught his wife cheating on him, but chose to forgive her.
“One day I came home from work and came to an empty house. She had taken everything, including my clothes,” he told TUKO.co.ke amid tears.
Rajab said he and his wife had a very beautiful marriage when they first met.
The man said he and his wife started a fruit business which did so well that they ended up opening another fast food store.
The two have two children, a boy and a girl and Rajab said before COVID hit they were doing very well.
However, the effects of the global pandemic have crippled all businesses and therefore also strained their marriage.
“I remember one day I asked her if she had weighed the meat that was delivered by the supplier to confirm if we were paying the quantity ordered. She got so angry and attacked me with a knife. cut his leg. I still have a scar to this day. I forgave him,”
Things continued to get worse, mostly because he often had to travel out of town in search of work. He did this to ensure he would be able to support his family.
Rajab also painfully recalled how he came home early from work to find his wife in bed with another man.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw them on my bed. It hurt so bad. I forgave him because I knew my children would suffer if we separated. he said
The couple decided to continue living together as long as she stopped her running ways.
However, to his surprise, Rajab came home from work one day and came home to an empty house. His wife wore everything, including her clothes.
“I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve this. It’s very painful. I can’t stop thinking about my children. I don’t want them to grow up without me. I would like to tell him to remembering that our children need their father even if she doesn’t want to be with me anymore,” he said, tears streaming down his cheeks.
