I am not in alliance with PDP – Peter Obi (Video)
Labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has denied recent reports that his party has entered into an alliance with the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Obi said this when asked by Channels TV host Seun Okinbaloye if the LP and PDP had entered into an alliance following the presidential election results by INEC which said Bola Tinubu President-elect of Nigeria.
During the press conference in Abuja on Thursday, March 2, Obi said he would deploy all legal and peaceful means to challenge the results as the number of voters in the 2023 elections fell sharply by 20% despite the increase in the number of registered voters and people who have collected their PVC in 2023.
“The reason for the reduction is due to the manipulation and suppression of votes here and there… We have chosen to challenge this roguery for the future of this country, Nigeria cannot hold credible elections after 63 years of independence is something we should all think about.
“We are not in an alliance, we are talking and partnering with other people and any other Nigerian who feels hurt like us,” Obi said.
