Gunmen kill ex-LG chairman’s wife in Nasarawa
Gunmen killed the wife of a former Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Council Chairman in Nasarawa State, Hon. Akolo Ahmed Success.
Mrs. Astira Akolo Success was found to be on her way to Assakio market when she was shot dead by gunmen suspected of being armed robbers.
The incident happened around 9am on Monday, November 14, 2022, along the Lafia-Shendam road in Nasarawa State.
Reports said the victim was sitting on the passenger side of the car when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle, apparently targeting the driver when a stray bullet hit him.
Until her death, Ms. Astira was a businesswoman with two children.
In the meantime, his body has been deposited in the morgue.
