Governors on EFCC watchlist increased – Bawa
Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa has revealed that the number of governors on the anti-corruption agency’s watch list has increased.
Briefing reporters at State House after meeting President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, November 17, Bawa declined to say how many governors are currently under the agency’s radar, nor did he reveal their identities.
He also said that the redesign of the naira note will help the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to control the funds in the system and, by extension, allow people to borrow more money.
