Ekiti Assembly elects Aribisogan as President

Ekiti State House of Assembly elected a new president.

The new president, Rt Hon Gboyega Aribisogan, who represents Ikole constituency, was elected in plenary session on Tuesday 15 November.

Aribisogan, of Ijesha-Isu in Ikole Local Government Area, was sworn in by the Clerk of the House, Mr Tola Esan.

Aribisogan replaced the late Rt Hon Funminyi Afuye who died in October 2022 after a brief illness.

Feu Afuye was 66 years old when he died.
