A video of a mob destroying Kano APC Gubernatorial candidate, Yusuf Gawuna’s billboard shortly after NNPP’s Abba Kabir Bichi was announced as the winner of the election, was shared online.
As the crowd tore up the billboard, a police officer arrived at the scene on a bicycle and was seen chatting with people in the crowd.
Ahmad Dokko Ibrahim, INEC’s returning officer in Kano, announced that Bichi garnered a total of 1,019,602 votes, while APC’s Yusuf Gawuna garnered 890,705 votes.
