The Cross River State authorities has introduced the dismissal and suspension of principals who allegedly collected unlawful levies from colleges.
The Commissioner for High quality Training, Dr Godwin Amanke revealed this throughout a Ministerial briefing in Calabar on Tuesday January 17.
“We requested loads of questions. Twelve administrators had been faraway from their posts, six suspended and 16 had been transferred.
The commissioner additional revealed that he had heard that some managers paid as much as 300,000 naira to switch.
Additionally confirming the specter of the cult in secondary colleges, he added that officers have been deployed to watch the faculties.
