Court sacks man for allegedly desecrating his 18-year-old daughter in Lagos
An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, ordered a 36-year-old man, Roland Okajare, to be remanded to a correctional center for allegedly desecrating his 18-year-old daughter.
Police charged Okajare with one count of defilement.
The prosecutor, ASP Kehinde Ajayi, told the court that Okajare committed the offense on January 4, at his shop at Ikotun Bus Stand, Lagos.
The magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, ordered that he be remanded in custody at the Kirikiri detention centre.
Kubeinje, who referred the case to the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), adjourned the case to April 12, 2023.
