Chimaroke Nnamani loses his senatorial seat to the Labor Party
Former Enugu State Governor, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani has lost his re-election bid in Enugu East Senatorial District to Labor Party candidate Sir Kelvin Chukwu.
The LP candidate won 69,136 votes to beat Chimaroke of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, who won 48,701 votes.
Kelvin replaced his brother, Oyibo Chukwu, who was brutally murdered a few days before the presidential and legislative elections of February 25.
