Catholic Priest, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia Wins Benue Guber Election
Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election in Benue State.
According to the results published by INEC, the Catholic priest obtained 473,933 votes to defeat Titus Uba, the candidate of the People’s Democracy Party (PDP), who received 223,913 votes. Herman Hembe of the Labor Party (LP) obtained 41,881 votes.
