Burna Boy Wins Best African Act at MTV EMAs
Nigerian singer Burna Boy has been crowned Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the year 2022.

This is the second time Burna Boy has won in this category after winning his first in 2019.
This year, his co-nominees include Nigerian terms and Ayra Starr, and Ghanaian Black Sherif.
Tems also lost the Best New Act award to Seventeen.
Nigerian disc jockey DJ Spinall was one of the performers at the awards ceremony held in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The EMA Awards are an event held annually to honor pop culture artists and music.
