Bola Tinubu receives his return certificate as president-elect (photos/video)
The Independent National Electoral Commission handed over Wednesday, March 1 the certificate of return to President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
The certificate was presented to Tinubu by INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu at the International Conference Center in Abuja, the nation’s capital. His running mate, Kashim Shettima, also received his own return certificate.
The presentation came hours after Tinubu was declared the winner of the Saturday February 25 poll, garnering 8,794,726 votes to beat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who secured 6,984,520.
