Early life

Thathene was born on September 25, 1995 in Trevor Thamsanqa Tutu and Nameswazi Mamakoko, in Orlando East, South Africa. Her father is the son of popular Archbishop Desmond Tutu, which makes Natasha the granddaughter of the former anti-apartheid campaigner.

Natasha has two siblings; her sister who doubles as a famous actress, Good Thane and Khoza Promise, his brother. At some point in her life she moved to Cape Town where she attended Milnerton High School.

After graduating from Milnerton, she attended the University of Witwatersrand and graduated with a degree in Accounting, In 2018, due to her love for acting, she enrolled and graduated from a one-year conservatory program in Acting for Film at New York Film Academy in Manhattan.

Career
