Bandits kill chief’s wife after collecting ransom in Kaduna
Hulaira Hussaini Ardo, the eldest wife of Fulani leader, Malam Husaaini Ardo, was shot dead by bandits after collecting a 2 million naira ransom from the family in Kaduna State.
The bandits kidnapped Ardo’s four wives after invading his residence on February 11, 2023.
Subsequently, the ransom (money and foodstuffs) demanded for the release of the four wives was given to the leader of the bandits in a forest between Kagarko and Kachia LGAs
After receiving the ransom, the leader of the bandits shot the eldest wife and freed the other three.
