APC’s Francis Nwifuru wins Ebonyi gubernatorial election

All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate Francis Nwifuru has been declared the winner of the March 18 poll in Ebonyi State by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Nwifuru, who is the Speaker of the Ebonyi State Assembly, garnered 199,131 votes to defeat his nearest rival, Ifeanyi Odii of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who garnered 80,191 votes.

Ben Odo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) garnered 52,189 votes.
