Alleged ritualists kill a man and harvest his body parts in Ondo
An as yet unidentified man has been found dead with some parts of his body missing in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
State Police Command spokesman Olufumilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, who revealed this to reporters, said the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Oba-Ile Police Station and his men had gone to the scene of the incident. The body of the deceased was found dumped around the state’s Benin car park.
She said the corpse was examined and transferred to Akure Specialty Hospital morgue.
“Preliminary findings showed that the man was a driver from Idanre local government area in Ondo state,” she said.
The police spokeswoman added that the body of the deceased has been deposited at the state morgue.
