Abdullahi Sule re-elected Governor of Nasarawa State
Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the gubernatorial election in Nasarawa State by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Ishaya Tanko, the state ranking and returning officer who made the announcement on Monday, March 20, said Sule secured a total of 347,209 votes to defeat his closest challenger David Ombugadu, a People’s Democratic Party candidate. (PDP), which obtained 283,016 votes.
Tanko said;
“Abdullahi Sule of the APC, having satisfied the requirements of the law and obtained the highest number of votes in the election, is hereby declared the winner and re-elected.”
